Submission of an objection to a discharge

Information to creditors on submitting an objection to the Notice to Creditors of Intention to Issue a Certificate of Discharge by the Official Assignee
-     section 125 Bankruptcy Act or
-     section 395 Insolvency, Restructuring & Dissolution Act

The Official Assignee may send a Notice to Creditors of Intention to Issue a Certificate of Discharge of a Bankrupt (“the Notice”) when a bankruptcy case is processed for a discharge.

If you, as a creditor receive the Notice, and intend to object to the discharge:
a)      You may submit an objection through the Creditor’s Portal at https://go.gov.sg/creditorsportal if the said notice has a Transaction Number (located at the top left-hand corner of the Notice).
OR
b)     You may file your objection online at https://go.gov.sg/contactminlaw if the said Notice does not include a Transaction Number.
